Hello!
I am a violin teacher and performer in Rhode Island. I offer in-person and online lessons to students of all ages and levels.
I have been playing the violin since I was 4 years old. I studied at the String Academy of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, and was a member of the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra. From there, I received my undergraduate degree in Violin Performance from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. Upon graduating, I moved to New York City and established a teaching and performing presence.
I moved to Warren, Rhode Island in 2017 and have been teaching full-time around the East Bay and Providence. I currently teach with the Community String Project, the Providence School of Music, and have my own private studio. I also teach on the online education platform Trala!
When I’m not teaching, I can be found on stage singing and playing my fiddle with my duo, Bank of Ireland, and my trio The Whelks, performing with the Chamber Orchestra of Barrington at St. John’s and at events all over Rhode Island.
I am available for teaching, gigs and recordings.
